A Winter Carnival of Stellar Delights 1/23 7-9pm

In a carnival of solar system visual delights, tonight the waxing crescent Moon poses above Neptune and Saturn in a beautiful formation that mirrors the simultaneously descending Northern Cross. Saturn and Jupiter bookend Orion the hunter, its stellar nursery, and the surrounding circle of bright winter stars. Join us for an indoor presentation about our solar system, then observe these treasures through the telescopes of the Oakland Astronomy Club at the historic Oakland Township Cranberry Lake Farmhouse. It doesn’t get much better! Did we forget to mention the homemade star cookies and hot cocoa?
OAC will provide the telescopes. Bring your curiosity and binoculars or borrow ours. Dress for the elements.
