Orion reaches its full vertical stature, showcasing its colorful bright stars and its beautiful nebulae. Orion is accompanied by Jupiter with its four Galilean Moons--and by the new comet C/2024 E1! Join us for an indoor presentation about tonight’s sky, then observe these jewels of the night through the telescopes of the Oakland Astronomy Club at the historic Oakland Township Cranberry Lake Farmhouse. OAC will provide the telescopes. Bring your curiosity and binoculars or borrow ours. Dress for the elements.
