Lost Lake Open Houses-Slithering 07/25 2pm

Slithering through the Meadows.
Ecology is all about natural relationships found though nature. For instance, if you find yourself with a healthy kettle lake and wetland you're bound to have an abundance of frogs you're sure to find snakes. Snakes are incredibly fascinating to observe and have many unique behavioral and physical adaptations which make them a treat to talk about. Join us as we learn a little about native Michigan snakes and how to protect them at home before patrolling the woods for a slithering friend! We will even have an exotic snake in attendance to say hello to our guests! Our youngest participants will put together their own snake puppets to take home!
